Cost & Procedures
- $99.00 every five (5) years.
- Vendor badges are valid for five (5) years and must re-fingerprint and pay the fee at the time of expiration.
All fingerprinting is completed through a separate company. You must schedule an appointment using directions and a code provided by the School District.
Badge & Clearance Requirements
Vendors who already have a valid blue State of Florida badge must confirm their clearance with the department or school they are working through or contact Human Resources at the information below
All badges must reflect active, valid background clearance to work on school campuses
Important: Due to recent legislative changes, vendors with expired badges must complete new fingerprinting through the Florida Clearinghouse to regain clearance.
How to Schedule Fingerprinting?
Fingerprinting is conducted through a third-party company, Fieldprint, and not at the Fulton-Holland Education Services Center. You must schedule an appointment using a unique code and instructions provided by the School District.
To get started:
- Contact the department or school you are working with to receive the fingerprinting instructions and code
- If you are unsure who to contact, please http://l.sdpbc.net/i89dd or contact Human Resources directly at the information below.
Who Needs to Be Fingerprinted?
All vendors, contractors, and consultants working on school campuses must be fingerprinted and cleared. This includes:
- Bid-awarded vendors/contractors/consultants
- Subcontractors and sub-consultants
- Professional service consultants
- Vendors supporting special events (e.g., food trucks, book fairs, school picture days)
- All employees, including temporary workers, associated with any of the above groups
Fingerprinting Instructions
Note: In April 2024, the previous fingerprinting codes were inactivated and new codes were developed. In order to make a fingerprinting appointment, you must contact the department or school you work with to receive an updated code. If you are unsure of which department/school you are working with, then please complete this form http://l.sdpbc.net/i89dd or contact Human Resources directly at the information below.
How to Get Fingerprinting Directions?
Contact the department or school(s) that you will be working with or providing services. The point of contact will provide you with fingerprinting instructions and your specific code for registering with Fieldprint, Inc.
Why a Special Code?
You need to receive a specific fingerprinting code to track which department or school you are working with. Failure to use the code provided will result in your background not being received and your fee lost.
Not Sure Which Department or School?
If you do not have a point of contact at a dept/school, complete this form: http://l.sdpbc.net/i89dd. A team member from Human Resources will contact you.

Mandatory Reporting of Arrests
Once vendors are cleared to work on campuses, they are mandated by Florida law to report any disqualifying arrests. Vendor employees and vendor companies should report arrests to Human Resources at the information below. Vendors with disqualifying offenses are not allowed on campuses. Failure to report arrests may result in being prohibited from working with the School District and constitute a violation of Florida Statute 1012.467.
The following Florida Statutes govern the fingerprinting, clearance, and self-reporting of arrests. Recent legislative changes have been made that require all education employees and vendors to have a profile and clearance in the Florida Clearinghouse::
