The School District of Palm Beach County Police Department is committed to providing trauma-informed, equitable, and compassionate support to victims of crime within our school community. We recognize the impact that victimization can have on individuals and their families, and we work collaboratively with local and state agencies to ensure victims receive timely information, resources, and referrals tailored to their needs.
Our department complies with all applicable federal and state civil rights laws and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, religion, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity, spousal affiliation, or sex in offering or providing victim rights information and services.
We follow best practices established by the Florida Attorney General’s Office of Victim Services, the Palm Beach County School District’s Department of Behavioral and Mental Health, and the Florida Guardian ad Litem program to ensure that each victim is treated with dignity, fairness, and respect throughout their experience.
